University of Southern Mississippi artist William Baggett works on a monumental mural in the university's new Thad Cochran Center recently on the Hattiesburg, Miss., campus. Titled University's Bounty, the mural is an oil painting on stainless steel panels that speaks to the university experience in a broad range of interrelated vignettes. The Thad Cochran Center opens with the start of the fall semester. The mural is expected to be completed in October. (Southern Miss Public Relations photo by Steve Rouse)
